Evolve Arts Collective made its first appearance at A Taste of Fringe in September 2018. This was a launch event to help spread awareness about the upcoming Kelowna Fringe Festival which made its debut the following year. In mini-fringe style, audience members enjoyed an evening of busker-style at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, having transformed into an open-market of art to sample. EAC showcased a brand new duet called Connect, which was developed from movement exploration on the different contact points between a partnership and a reworked excerpt of No. 5 as a solo; both being received by heartfelt applause.
